I filmed using intelligent Auto (iA) mode in AVCHD lite (SH) format and with digital zoom and wind cut option off. I can record more than 60 minutes in AVCHD lite format using an 8 GB SDHC class 6 memory. The battery also lasts close to an hour (when fully charged) for filming HD movies. My camera also has a firmware V.1.2 when I bought it, so it can't use third party batteries but most of the problems were fixed by V.1.1 firmware so you can downgrade to that version without any problems.
